A store in Buokrom in the Ashanti Region has been robbed of 140000 Ghana cedis. This incident has been reported by Joy News on their official Twitter handle.
The name of the shop is CCSL Enterprise. The robbery happened in broad daylight on June 1,2020. While the merchant was attending to a customer,a fair colored man entered into the shop and wrestled the customer to the floor.
The merchant thought a fight was about to break out but later realized it was a robbery. The armed robber pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the merchant and demanded her to give him all the money in the drawer. All this while, another partner of the robber was standing outside the shop. One of the workers at the shop was in the bathroom when she heard the commotion.
She called a friend, Collins Dapaah to help them out. Collins Dapaah quickly rushed from his home to the shop to help them out but was shot when he reached there.
One person, Collins Dapaah has sustained severe injuries from gunshots.According to one of the ladies held hostage, the robbers shot into the roof three times as they requested for the money they had on them.
