We Don't Want To Hear Your Sweet Words; Our Business Is Going Down; Angry Coffin Makers Demonstrate

Association of Coffin makers in the Ashanti Region of Ghana took to the streets to demonstrate against the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly over their eviction.

According to them, they produce thousands of coffins for use in the country. They added that their service is not for Ghanaians only. People from cote Divoire, Burkina Faso and Togo comes to buy from them.

" They told us that we should leave this place for an investor to develop. After building stores and other facilities, they will invite us back to occupy the ground floor. We won't buy those sweet words. We're not kids. Our business is fading off . It's going down. Have you seen an investor giving his modern plush building for Coffin makers? It doesn't happen." Leader of the demonstration told TV3 in an exclusive interview.

According to them, if they are evicted, they can't feed their families anymore. " We all voted for NPP only to be Sacked from a land we've occupied for long. Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly should stop our eviction now else we won't stop demonstrating" They threatened.
