The name "Josephine Panyin Mensah" has been on the lips of almost every Ghanaian because of the news that broke that she has been abducted by some unknown men. The truth finally came that indeed she pretended she was pregnant and also faked her kidnapping.
Josephine Panyin Mensah confessed to the police that she wasn't pregnant and that she faked everything with her mother. She again pleaded with the police not to prosecute her but the police paid no heed to her since they were bent on teaching her a lesson.
Josephine Panyin Mensah was arraigned before the court where she pleaded not guilty. The expertise of her lawyer Fiifi Buckman made the police granted her a bail.
The interesting thing is even after she was granted bail, she was kept in police custody because she wasn't able to meet the requirements of the bail. According to her lawyer Fiifi Buckman, the Western Regional Lands Commision delayed in verifying the documents of his client. Since, she wasn't able to meet the requirements on time, she was kept in police custody for some days.
Earlier today, information reaching us is that Josephine Panyin Mensah has been finally granted her freedom to enjoy her bail in the house and not at the police custody after being able to meet the requirements for the bail.
