The news about the killing of the Nigerian student Deborah has given Nigeria another bad name and it seems the issue has triggered into something else. At the moment some of the Muslims in the community has clashed with the security forces there over the arrest of some people who were involved in the killing of Deborah. Parents of Deborah has in a video expressed their grievances on the killing of their daughter. 
The parents of slain Sokoto student, Deborah Yakubu, have revealed that they have handed everything over to God.Emmanuel Garba and Alheri Emmanuel while speaking with Daily Post said, "We can't say or do anything, except to take it easy as an act of God. We have left all to God, we have decided to take it like that.”
