The entire people of Assin Fosu were in tears when a 46-year-old man dies after being trapped by a well.
According to witness who were at the scene, this incident happened around 1:00 PM in the afternoon where many had gone to work.
He explained that, the deceased whose name was identified as Mr George was given a job to renovate a well because the people within the area were not getting enough water from it like they used to have.
"We heard him shout on top of his voice about 15 minutes after he had started the work. We went there only to see him inside the well with all the blocks on him," he narrated.
He added that they called the attention of the the police service, fire service and the Ghana Ambulance Service to intervene after they had tried their best to bring him out of the well and could not work.
Two hours later, he died.
