A big hospital in the suburb of the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi has caught fire this afternoon. The Gary Marvin Hospital which is located in Kotwi on the Kumasi Obuasi road was in heavy flames as at the time of reporting in a video seen on social media as posted by Kessben TV on facebook, had no presence of Fire Service Personnel in the premises as the hospital continued to burn down. In the video, the top floor of the three storey hospital building was all in flames. It is feared that the "bed ridden" patients that may be occupying the affected floor may not be able to escape from the devastating effects of the fire. The National fire is called upon to quickly rush to the area in order to save lives. As for what might have caused the fire, it is yet to be ascertained. We pray no lives are lost and the fire is quenched as soon as possible.
