Customs seized sniper rifles entering into Ghana.

The Ghana security service seems to be performing better after a wake up call was made to the security forces against robbery in the country, after their recent blockage of weapons into the country we could understand why the police say's they are fully committed in fighting against armed robbery. One Ernest Tawiah who is said to have based in Chicago, is said to have imported snipers into the country. This happened when he placed them into a barrel filled with sardines and milk that has been shipped into Ghana.

The company responsible for shipping of most goods from foreign countries to Africa or Ghana is African Logistics. This company took the delivery of the barrels for onward distribution, after arriving in Ghana the custom officer's at Tema port discovered the goods during an inspection. This is a shocking event according to a worker Micheal Osei in an interview on Adom FM's morning show, Dwaso Nsem program today morning. The spotted rifles imported into the country is said to be have been seized by the port authority, this is also a fight to end armed robbery in Ghana.
