2015 and 2016 was such an and shocking year for the people of Ghana. It is a year most people don't want to talk about or remember. A year of sorrows and a year of crying.
June 3rd 2015 was the year of flood and fire explosion in Accra. On that day there was a flood that took almost half the city of Accra and this led to a fire explosion in one of the filling stations that led to the death of a maximum number of people in Accra. Some were burnt beyond recognition whiles others sustained multiple injuries and some have not been found till now. What a year, we thought we would never experience this again when the unfortunate thing happened in 2016 on the same June 3rd.
In 2016,June 3rd, A family of 7 burned at Asante mampong in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The source of the fire is not known till this day, some are attributing it to spirituality whiles others say it's perhaps murder. The family was the father who was a pastor, his 4 children, the househelp and his nephew all burned together in the room. His wife had left so she was not burned. It was a sorrowful incident at Asante mampong.
