Robbery is at it again and this time five suspects of this particular robbery have been arrested by the Ghana police. We have seen the works of these robbers over the past few years in many parts of the country. The Ghana police have worked very hard towards achieving the success rate they have at the moment in terms of arresting these criminals and bringing them to justice. Most of the accolades have gone to the IGP for making sure his boys work harder than they have ever worked before.
Today happened to be another bad day for these criminals and a good day for the country and these robbery victims in the Volta region. There have been myths and superstitious beliefs and statements concerning a no robbery incident in the Volta region because of the implementation of spiritual and instant punishment and justice to these criminals. But here is the case we are seeing a massive change as robbers seem to be appearing in the Volta region as often as any other region in the country.
After the arrest of these suspects, one Ahadzi Anane who is 26 years of age told the police that his further pushed him j to joining these robbers. My father pushed me to do this because he never took care of me, Ahadzi told the police in sadness. The story as being told by the young boy was a sad one but didn’t give him the rights to steal a company with these men.
From investigations conducted and many other interrogations, the police successfully arrested the three suspects who later helped or assisted in the arrest of the two other suspects totaling the five men who are in police grip. The police are currently holding them in custody and making preparations for them to pay for their actions in court soon. The young man including other arrested persons are still under interrogations to come to the root of the matter.
