Yaa Juliana, a 53-year-old woman who also happens to be a mother of six has reportedly been found lifeless in a pool of blood in her cassava farm at Hentaado Krofrom near Anwia-Nkwanta in the Bekwai Municipal District of the Ashanti Region. This was confirmed in the news on Kumasi based Nyhira 104.5 FM by an eyewitness, Pozo.
According to the report, the deceased husband, Mr. Kwadwo Barfo, is on record to have said; his wife informed her yesterday Monday May 17, 2021 around 4:15 .p.m, that she was going to the farm to harvest some cassava that will enable her prepare banku for her grandchildren so they will get food to eat when they close from school the next day, incidentally met her untimely death in the hands of evils plotters.
After waiting for her arrival for quite sometimes and she wasn't returning, he decided to check on her in the farm which is few kilometers away from the community.
To the shocking of his life, found his wife bleeding profusely, as she sustained cutlass wounds. He rushed home for help by the time people trooped in numbers to the scene she was already dead.
Sadly some parts of her body were missing.
The police has deposited the body at the mortuary while investigations are ongoing to apprehend the perpetrator.
There isn't a single day news about death won't be reported, in the country, if not death case then someone is missing yet still nobody is telling us something making people live in fear and panic in their respective communities.
It has come to a point we admit that, we aren't in normal times, some youth of today want to be rich overnight by means of human sacrifice, hence let's adapt the habit of moving in pairs more especially those in the rural areas should try as much as possible to be two or more when going to the farm. Nobody can be trusted nowadays.
