It was an emotional moment captured by the Cameras. Fela Makafui stormed the Police headquarters with a an aged man wearing a smock and a pair of trousers. After a short meeting with the Police officers, they were directed to the court premises.
FELA AND THE MAN AT THE POLICE HEADQUARTERS
This is where her beloved husband's fate was to be determined. Having faith in God to do a miracle, the verdict unfortunately turned against Fela and her husband. He was remanded into Prison custody for five days before the substantive verdict.
Fela Makafui was seen trying to hold the hands of her husband. Sadly she was stopped by the police. They barricaded around Medikal making it difficult for Fela Makafui to hold him. Fela Makafui kept wiping tears from her eyes as the old man beside him tried to console her.
It was a very sad scene. Almost like a movie. Medikal was remanded for brandishing gun publicly. Was it right for not allowing Fela Makafui to have a small chat with her husband or even touch him?
