In a statement issued by the FDA today 8th July 2022, Marwako Fast Food at the East Legon branch is set to be re-opened after it was shut down by the Food and Drugs Authorities following allegations of food poisoning.
FDA in a statement said they are satisfied with the implementation of the corrective prevention actions taken by Marwako Fast Food.
"Following the verification of your facility at East Legon to ascertain the level of implementation of corrective prevention actions (CAPA), the Food and Drugs Authorities (FDA) writes to inform you that it is satisfied with the progress made in the implementation of the (CAPA)to forestall any future food poisoning incidence". Part of the statement read.

They, therefore, lifted the barn on the Marwako Fast Food for it to now offer its services fully.
“The Food and Drugs Authority hereby lifts the suspension of catering services placed on your facility at East Legon,” the statement noted.
