The death of a young man who was looking for his daily bread by getting hired to roof a building for GHc 30 has saddened the hearts of many inhabitants in the Central Region and social media as a whole.
Man must make ends meet no matter the situation on grounds, but sometimes, many abled men tend to lose their precious lives all in the name of making their daily bread. Of course we find ourselves in the part of the world where one must work hard for little money on to out food on his table. Is death the end of man's struggle or there are still better days ahead where men will work less and earn more especially here in Ghana?
Death as the saying goes is inevitable and we will all come into contact with it to tragically end our existence on this earth. But at times, it becomes so painful when something that could have been avoided takes away a precious life just like that of this young man.
According to reports currently making waves in Sanka, in the Central Region, a young man has been electrocuted to death. He works as an unskilled labour in order to make his daily bread. On Friday evening, he was hired by a customer to roof her small shop for an agreed amount of thirty Ghana cedis.
As he climbed on top of the building, there was a high tension wire which was right above the building but he ignore with care and proceed with the work. After a few hours, the young man who is believed to be between the ages of 25 to 30 was seen shouting on top of his voice. Sadly for him, he was electrocuted and died instantly leaving behind the Ghc30.00 which no one would've given him if he had not taken the risk that has ended his life.
Very sad indeed but I think the right authority must hear this in order to put up more risk free opportunities for young men to avoid sad news like this from our youths. You can share your views below.
