Tragic incidents keep happening in the country day in and day out. It will not be a day Ghana wouldn’t record murdering, robbing, and rape cases.
The level at which criminal cases are going on in the country makes every citizen insecure because when you are home there is trouble burning when you step out also you face another misfortune.
I think it is time for the ministry of interior, the ministry of defence, and the National security boss should consider things because the people of Ghana can’t live with fear.
In the news today another woman narrated how armed robbers attacked her and her husband. According to the woman they went to the bank to withdraw some money for a project they are doing.
They are from Takoradi but they live in Switzerland so they came purposely to continue their project they have started and go back. On their way from the bank, they find out two motor riders were following them, so they decided to go to a place people will save.
They went to Taxi station close to Takoradi main market and the motor riders also followed them. The moment they parked their car, the armed robbers pointed a gun at them to bring their bag. They decided to challenge them, unfortunately, they shot her husband three times on his chest and bolted away with the bag.
People were there but nobody came close to help us and the level of insecurity in the country is too high. The case is now with the police for further investigation.
