Threats Of Death: Fresh Case Hits The Doors Of Rev. Owusu Bempah

The past few days have been very tough for the leader and founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend. Isaac Owusu Bempah. He has been moving from the police cells to the court and back until he was granted bail. But his troubles are not yet over as another case has hit his doorsteps.

Many were of the view that Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah has exhibited traits that shows he is a sympathizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and should not be facing such challenges. He made a lot of biblical contributions to support the course of the New Patriotic Party and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo but he has since not been forgiven after breaking the laws.

As he is still battling with the already court case, another one has hit his doorsteps, and this time around his second in command, Bright Berchie who is thirty years has been grabbed for various offenses. He has been charged for the threat of death, possession of firearms illegally, and offensive conduct. An image of the young man has been posted on the official Facebook page of the Ghana Police Service with a pistol placed beside it. It is a clear sign that the pistol is the same he has been using illegally.Threats of death is a huge offense that can lead the young pastor to jail if found guilty by the court.

It is mind-boggling what a man of God will be doing with a gun when they preach that the Lord almighty is the only protector of human life. Many have suggested that the personal assistant of Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah should be charged as soon as possible and made to face the laws of the country accordingly. If found guilty he should be jailed because his conduct falls contrary to the biblical interpretation of the word of God.

Others who have commented on the issue at the official Facebook page of the Ghana Police Service have indicated that Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and his associates are being targeted by the police for no justifiable reasons. They believe that he had issues with Nana Agradaa but the police have since refused to arrest her as well. There are other followers of Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah who are disappointed in the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for refusing to protect his pastor in a time of need.

For now, the law will deal with the young man and it is up to him to find ways and means of defending himself. The big case about his boss, Reverend Owusu Bempah is also hanging in the court. In the meantime, Reverend Owusu Bempah has predicted that God has taken the key from the elephant.
