Good job Ghana Police: Abease Police crew arrest two suspected armed robbers at Damannkwanta

The police Abease in the Bono East region have in their grips two suspected armed robbers who have been tormenting and endangering lives of innocent citizens. The arrest of the suspects effected on monday after the Abease police crew raided their hideouts in a remote village called Damannkwanta to to apprehended them. Investigations and interrogations revealed that, these suspects ambushed innocent people and robbed them of their belongings, force them to say their mobile money pins and assault them on top of it. Their fierce modus operandi instigated the Abease police crew to launch a manhunt for the duo.

During their arrest, the police retrieved some tools and gadgets including a double barrel gun, purported to be used in their operations. The police again retrieved some mobile phones from which one of the victims their had robbed earlier, identified on of the mobile phones as his. The suspects will appear before the court and face prosecution soon.

We continue to commend the police for their recent intensification in the chase for armed robbers in the country, in a bid to clamp down the increasing crime rate. Moreover the police continue to tell individuals not to hesitate to report criminals because, we can only fight criminals through a collective effort. The police hierarchy has recently undergone some reshuffle as well, and it is anticipated the outcome of the reshuffle would increase the effectiveness of the police.
