Mother abandons newly born children

Ghana police service are on the hunt looking for a mother who is believed to have left her two children in two different places in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The question on the lips of many citizens still remains "why give birth to the kids if you are not ready to be a mother?".

In some cases, it might be that a lot of Ghanaian ladies don't actually know the meaning of a mother and what it takes to be a mother. A mother according to the Oxford Dictionary is a woman in relation to her child or children and brings up the child or children with care and affection. Mother's love is the best love you can possibly ask for.

The mother of the two children is believed to have left the children at objobo and agege all in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Effia Tenge, Head of Public Affairs Unit of the Command, disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency.

As reported by GhanaWeb, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Effia Tenge said they were informed on 27th December, 2020 that a newly born child had been left at Ogbojo. The Ghana Police followed up to see about a day- old baby behind a cemetery. The child was taken and sent to the hospital for intensive care and treatment.

On the same day, 27th December, 2020 the Ghana Police also had another information about another child been abandoned in Agege behind a Pentecost church

The Ghana Police service are on the hunt looking for the mother who did that. As to whether she will be caught or she will own up, we will inform you of anything that happens.
