What happened 6 years ago nearly repeated itself as four big Express Buses burnt down. According to Eugene Osei Barima an eyewitness who spoke narrated the sad incident to Angel FM midday news, the buses were in good condition and stationed at one place but how four of them caught up fire and burnt down completely, only God can explain. He further explained that, one person who was selling air freshener at the station that particular moment was hit by the shock waves of the explosion and lost his life instantly. Express transport are known for travelling to lengthy journeys like Accra to Kumasi, Accra to Takoradi, Accra to Tamale and other long-distance places.
Eugene Osei also stated that they suspect foul activity because all four buses could not have burned down at the same time. They believe that one of their competitors is responsible for the tragic tragedy that has claimed the life of an innocent person.
The engines of the four buses are now irreparably damaged. Eugene Osei Barima said that this is the first time something like this has happened to Express Transport. The body of the deceased has been placed at the mortuary after the house was entirely destroyed by fire.
