OBUASI: Fire Officer Who Died In Rescue Operation Finally Goes Home.

It has been all sadness especially for people living in Gomoa Obuasi and the entire Fire Service at Mr. Joseph Baidoo who died during a rescue mission finally goes home today.

Joseph Baidoo who had served in the Fire Service for more than two decades died in a well while attempting to rescue two children who were drowning.

Aged 35, Joseph Baidoo left behind a wife called Joanah Effianah and a little daughter.

In Joanah's tribute to her late husband, she said:

“You were such a loving husband. Although we had our ups and downs, you were always there for us. You were generous and a wonderful father to our daughter… He was selfless and did everything possible to make us happy, including his family and mine, until his sudden death. I have lost a great and lovely husband. I cannot forget the love and peace of mind you gave me and your daughter.”

May good look after the family he left behind and may he continue to rest in peace.
