
20th January 2022 was another sad news for Ghana as many people lost their lives and left many in a critical condition in an explosion in the Bogoso Appiatse Western Region.
According to information gathered, a mining explosive vehicle moving from Tarkwa to Chirano mines collided with a motorcycle resulting in the explosion.

According to the resident who survived the sad incident, it all started after a vehicle conveying mining blasting chemical to the site and unexpected happened which destroy lives and properties.
According to the resident who survived, they did not pick anything due to the explosion. Therefore they plead on the government to come to their aid.
“I couldn't pick anything, government should come to our aid” he said.
