The recent news making waves on the internet is that the Mother and Husband of the alleged victim of kidnapping case in Takoradi have been arrested by the police. The police have arrested husband and mother of the supposed nine- month pregnant woman Josephine Mensah Panyin Simpson who was allegedly kidnapped a week ago when she went for a walk in Takoradi. The kidnapping has however taken a twist turn after some allegations have been revealed from the police.
Josephine's husband, Michael Simmons, and her mother, Agnes Essel, have been arrested as accomplices. Confirming the arrest to Media General‘s Eric Mawuena Egbeta in an interview on Thursday, Aide to the Western Region Minister Justice Acquah said Michael Simmons and his mother-in-law were picked up because there is suspicion of a staged kidnapping incident. “Because it was a syndicate. It was well planned. One person cannot stage a kidnap. He had accomplice who helped in ensuring that they carry out their ideas successfully.”
This case somehow looks very complicated and difficult to come into conclusion. We are all waiting for the further investigations. Thanks, kindly follow me for more updates and share as well to support my work.
