Eric Kwaku Amoako is known to be the father of the 15-year old boy. This incident occurred on Saturday, August 28.
Eric Kwaku Amoako is 40 years old and use to abuse his wife whenever he drinks alcohol.
On Saturday, Eric went out to booze so he gave his son twenty (20) CEDI's to pass it on to his wife, Mavis Adjoa Amponsah to prepare food for the family. Mavis failed to prepare the food until her husband returned and questioned her on the reason why food is not on his table. Mavis replied Eric in an offensive manner so he got angry and started beating her mercilessly.
Mavis also became angry when Eric was beating her so she sent her son to go to Dawu - Akuapem and call Kofi Dennis who is known to be the brother of Mavis.
Kofi Dennis arrived with two accomplices to retaliate what Eric was doing to his sister. Mavis forced her son to take out the pestle and strike it to the father's head. The 15-year old teenager acted on the orders of his mother by striking his father's head with the pestle and unfortunately, His Father fell unconscious while bleeding.
Eric was quickly rushed to the Eastern Regional Hospital by the residents but unfortunately, he died on the next day (Sunday).
The police arrested Mavis and her son on Monday to assist the investigation but couldn't reach Kofi Dennis and the two (2) accomplices because they are hiding at an unknown place.
