Speaking to Ali Baba, the host of the program, the landlord explained that, around 3:30pm last Monday, he was in his room watching a football games when he heard a huge explosion, he came out of his room to meet A woman, his tenant of 4years on fire
According to him, his first instinct was to pour water on her which was enough to quench the fire. However there were 4 children inside the room, 3 girls and a boy. He called people to help and indeed they managed to put out the fire.
They rushed all 5 to the nearest hospital, but was referred to Manhyia Hospital. They stabilized them and then was again referred to Komfo Anokye Hispital’s Emergency ward.
Unfortunately the eldest among them died but other three are still alive.
According to reports from the Doctor incharge, the mother is recovering but the three kids are in critical condition. The last born who is 7years old sustained about 85% burns with one also on life support
