A two year old child has been murdered and his tongue harvested by unknown assailants. According to an Assembly man in the Obuasi Municipality who was speaking to Nana Kojo Jantuah on Nhyira 104.5 fm in Kumasi, the child was on the heels of his mum on their way to the mosque for evening prayers when it was realised he has gone missing.
The incident which happened on 8 July,2021 has thrown the Obuasi township into a state of panic.
According to the mother of the child, she had tasked her older child,who is 5 years to make sure the two years old child returned home. The mother according to the assembly man realised the child has gone missing when she returned home after a blackout in their neighbourhood.
The child's body was discovered in a vicinity in Obuasi called Estates and upon discovery it was realised his tongue has been harvested.
