Most Ghanaians have always been comparing the country to some developed countries like the United States of America (USA) that the system is working perfectly there. This is because their leaderships take responsibility and make sure that certain bad occurrences do not happen there.
According to Twene Jonas, in America, everything works perfectly in rural areas. But the images below from Michigan, a town in the USA show that the place has been flooded that cars even find it difficult to move just as what happened in Accra and Kumasi some few days ago. In view of this, some Ghanaians are calling on Twene Jonas to come and answer how a country with everything working properly encounters flooding just within two hours.
Others also said that this shows that there are problems everywhere even in developed countries. So Ghanaians should exercise patient with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration because they are on course in solving the problems of perennial flooding in the country.
Check out reactions from some Ghanaians below:
A Facebook user known as Queenstar Sikapa reacted that "Thanks for the information, where is Twene Jonas".
Another Facebook user known as Brine Becca reacted that "When you are proud of someone's country without respecting leaders in your country how can the country be developed? We should behave well in public and avoid throwing rubbish anywhere". Not only the USA which has been flooded but Germany was also flooded when it rains some days ago".
