Traffic laws are very important and protect both pedestrians and drivers. No matter the form of transportation, whether walking, riding on a motorcycle, in a car or even in a large truck, you must make sure to go by the traffic rules, and in no way underestimate the rate of accidents. Road accidents claim over one million lives and more million injuries all around the globe.

Most of these accidents were as a result of traffic violations. Road accidents can be prevented through a variety of measures implemented by the government . You as an individual must see to it that you follow those rules accordingly, and also make sure you end habits such as: over speeding, drinking and driving, driving whiles drunk, having arguments or distracting signals while driving, using of phones while behind the wheel, not using seat belts, not using child restraint for children at the backseat. These are simple rules that people end up underestimating their importance and the extent to which they cause accidents. Individuals must be willing to seriously follow these rules to prevent all unnecessary accidents that might come along.
