I Am Being Framed For Kaaka's Murder- Arrested Brother Tells Police

The case involving the murder of Ibrahim Mohammed, alias Macho Kaaka has taken a new twist. The Fourth Estate reports that the brother of the deceased, Baba Iddi Mohammed, who is currently in police custody for allegedly committing that crime says has been framed for the offence.

The Fourth Estate, where ace investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni works stated in news publication that Iddi Mohammed's statement at the Police Station argued that he had no knowledge of the crime.

A section of his statement indicated that he woke up the following day (Saturday 26 June, 2021) only to find blood stains at the corridor of his house and washroom. Iddi Mohammed noted that it took some other occupants [unnamed] to inform him that some politician attacked and wounded him that dawn.

“On 26th June 2021, I woke up early in the morning and saw bloodstains on the corridor of the house and in front of our washroom. There, I asked the occupants and was told some Politician beat Kaaka wounded him was rushed to the hospital in Ejura…”

Incongruous Report Or Misrepresented Facts

The media had reported that the assault on Macho Kaaka happened on the dawn of Friday 25 June 2021 at the neighbourhood. The crime was reported to the Police at around 1:30am, said media reports.

What seems not to add up with what is has been reported by the Fourth Estate as an account of a statement from the prime suspect, Baba Iddi Mohammed is the claim that the crime was orchestrated on the 26 June 2021, a day after the attack on Macho Kaaka.

Blood Stains And The Missing Murderer

Another interesting fact is the blood stains that were found at the corridor and washroom of the compound, and that Iddi Mohammed claim to have seen at sun rise. Two assumptions could be drawn here as to how the stains got there, all of which would invite extra suspects to the case.

The first assumption is that Kaaka was attacked in his own compound which is being shared with his brother and other occupants. As already reported, the key witness upon whose testimony Iddi Mohammed was arested, said she heard the 'engine of Kaaka's motor [presumed] reeve' and a strong hit at 'something'. Her curiosity brought her out of her room only to see someone being dragged on the ground into a dark area. So it is that Macho Kaaka's assailant attacked him at his house?

The second assumption which is drawn from the account of Iddi Mohammed, is the possibility of the unknown murderer framing him by staining the compound with blood of the victim. Perhaps the assailant wanted people to believe it was motivated by a family feud.
