Readers can recall trending news of how some Policemen chased their colleague for his suspected possession of narcotic drugs. Onua TV has reported that the two police officers have been promoted for their involvement in arresting Sergeant Lotsu Agbeko for the alleged crime.

Onua TV also confirmed that, upon tip off, Seargant Lotsu Agbeko aged 36, stationed at FPU, Tesano Accra, was in-charge of his own Blue Black Toyota Corolla with registration number GC 1069 - 09 as he carried a dried leave suspected to be indian hemp.

The said police officer was transporting the suspected Indian hemp from 'Have' direction and failed to stop at 'Have' police barrier when signalled by personnel on duty to do so. He attempted to escape but was given a hot chase by the personnel. On reaching a section of the road on Kpeve Mountain , he got involved in accident and had a fracture on his left hand.

The suspected 84 parcels of compressed dried leaves were alleged to have been found in his car boot. However, he was rushed to the Peki Government Hospital for treatment.

He is currently responding to treatment even though he has been placed under police guard at the hospital. We are monitoring to provide our readers with further development.
