In 2009, Nigerian policemen arrested a goat on suspicion of an attempted robbery. According to the story that was reported on the news explained that, some vigilantes said they saw two people who attempted to steal Mazda 323, but as they pursued them, they run of which one escaped and the other one turned into a black and white goat.
The news was all over Nigeria, and this made people go over to the police station to take a look at the man said to have turned into a goat.
But a police statesman was called he explained that, they cannot base something on mystical but rather it must be scientifically proven before they take any action. He continued by saying belief in witchcraft is widespread in parts of Nigeria and Africa.
