An accident which is said to have occured in the late hours of yesterday, Tuesday February 23, 2021 have claimed one life, a driver, with two others, a Lecturer at KNUST and and one other who are in critical condition.
I a WhatsApp message widely shared by the DCE for Central Gonja Honourable Mustapha Mahama which sought to encourage people to help identify the family of the victims and to call him on 0206995564.
The accident, as narrated in the WhatsApp message is beleived to have occured between Fufulso/Junction and Domeambra which involved a Toyota Land cruiser belonging to KNUST with registration number GV 785-14 in which the driver passed away, leaving the other two passengers, a lecturer identified as Alex Acheampong and one Anita Andrews in a critical condition. The message revealed that they have since been taken to Tamale Teaching Hospital for urgent treatment.
Meanwhile some students who are in the class of the said Lecturer Alex Acheampong revealed that yesterday, Tuesday he was not in class and that the class has to be cancelled. They revealed that it is unusual of him to have missed class but no further explanation was given as to why he was absent.
