George Akuffo Dampare is currently not acting again as the IGP of Ghana. He has finally assume office as the new IGP for Ghana and his mantle has been handed over to him. Ghanaians could not turn off their television this day as they are watching intensively to see all the program concerning the handing over ceremony from Former IGP James Oppong Boanuah. All to soon the program has ended and Ghanaians has finally welcome their new IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
Henceforth all eyes on Dr George Akuffo Dampare as he is no more acting as an IGP but full force and authority has been handed into his guridiction. Ghanaians are expecting him to perform better than his predecessor Former IGP James Oppong Boanuah.
Viewers to today's program were wondering about what will be the yardstick to measure the competency of the New IGP Geroge Akuffo Dampare. Just like any other questions Ghanaians have directed to Former IGP James Oppong Boanuah, this is not far to reach the door steps of the New IGP Geroge Akuffo Dampare. Ghanaians do not expect him to disappoint them as he begin his Adminstration today 1st August 2021.
Others opted that the only thing we could use as the yardstick to determine or measure the competency level of the new IGP is how he is able to organise his police officers to curb the high rate of the criminal and Robber attack in Ghana. But we have notice an immediate activities which makes us to wonder if such activity could be use to measure his competency.
Many would ask what is this activity?. This activity is no other than the pending Demostration activity which will kick off on the 4th August 2021. The activist are now ready with full force and passion to commence on their Fix the country demonstration on Wednesday 4th August 2021. Their activities will be a massive one on that day and there is the need to determine how police officers will handle the whole activities on the 4th August 2021.
Therefore we are asking if the activity of the Fix the country demonstrators will be the yardstick to measure the competency of George Akuffo Dampare the New IGP. Many other IGP's did better whenever ever such activity is set to commence. They make sure the police are in full force to ensure that the whole activity is under perfect control to ensure its successfulness.
Dr George Akuffo Dampare has been appointed by the Current President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo to take his new position. Therefore we are expecting that the New IGP will not disappoint Nana Addo on how he will handle his first hand mission which will take place on the 4th August 2021 in all the soil of Ghana.
This does not call for beating, brutality and severe treatment. But this really calls for how Dr George Akuffo Dampare will be able to ensure that the activity of the fix the country demonstrators will not negatively affect the other citizens in Ghana as well as non of the public proper or facility will not be tempered with. If this is done accurately, then we can use that as a yardstick to measure the competency of Dr George Akuffo Dampare the New Ghana police IGP.
