Red Friday as 16 people dead in Accra-Kumasi road accident

Sixteen (16) people are feared dead after two Grindbird Kia buses collided at around 1am on Friday, 26 February 2021.


It was also reported that several people suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. According to eyewitnesses, this incident occurred at around 01.00 WIB on the Akem Asafo section of the Accra-Kumasi toll road.


Officials from the Ghanaian fire department and police officers were on site to rescue the victims who are believed to be trapped in the two vehicles.
