Alopecia is a medical condition whereby a person loses hair. The one suffering from the disease might have all the hair on his or her body. A Ghanaian lady who is suffering from alopecia has shared her experience on television today 12th August 2021. She shared her experience in the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. In the interview, the lady first explained what alopecia is and how one gets it. She gave the symptoms, causes, and solutions of alopecia.
"Alopecia isn't a bad thing. It's a medical condition whereby someone loses hair. I have been suffering from alopecia for some years now. When I go out, a lot of people stare at me. Even though a lot of people stir at me when I go out, I never get embarrassed. I love to rock beautiful dresses with my bald head. I am not a fan of wigs. I love my bald head just the way it is," the lady said.
