When will perennial floodings in the capital city of Ghana end? This is the question that every government finds very difficult to answer once their political party wins power. Today, most parts of Accra have once again experienced heavy rainfall. And this has consequently flooded all the major streets of Accra.
One sad scene or photo which is circulating online is how a car nearly somersaulted or was on the verge of somersaulting. This incident occurred on Spintex Road. Obviously, that occurred as a result of the flooding. From any observers viewpoint, it appears that the cars tyre had landed or tripped into one of the major drainage or gutter in that area. The driver cannot be blamed since he cannot see beneath the flood.
Because of how sad that view was, many Ghanaians reacted massively. Some Ghanaians called on the government to do something about it since it is clearly their work.
