The cases of road accident is on the increase in Ghana as there have been a record of heightened number of accidents on major roads and highways. As expected, there is a high correlation between the accidents and number of deaths. Today, Ghanaians have been hit with another sad news as another accident has occurred on the Kasoa-Winneba highway. This accident came in the form of a car crash where two buses collided at Gomoa Mampong in the Gomoa West District on the Kasoa – Winneba Highway in the Central Region.
An eyewitness reported that both drivers were overtaking and in the process collided at Mampong. So far, 15 people are injured but news that we have gathered is that a 7-month pregnant woman has lost her life; a two in one death. Also ten other people died as a result of the accidents. The accident occurred at dawn around 3:00 am.
