News coming in this morning confirms a gory accident has happened this morning 24th August, 2021 on the Winneba - Kasoa Road right at Kantanka junction. The police, fire service and ambulance are at the scene to rescue lives and transport them to the nearest hospital. Its unclear as to what caused this tragic accident this morning, eye witness on the scene confirmed that One woman was pronounced dead after they were able to get her out of the car, the Driver and a 3 year old survived, who have been sent to the Hospital for further medical attention. In incidents like this mostly the drivers are to be blamed for their reckless driving, and doing whatever they want when they are behind the wheels, some of these drivers over speed, don't obey road signs and above all reckless over taking. We hope the police develop new strategy to really monitor some of this drivers and deal with them.
The rise in Road accidents in Ghana over the years has been on the rise, but it seems from last Three months we had recorded low accidents on our Roads, till this one happening this morning. We pray for those who were involved and hope they get well soon. Current situation at the scene was recorded on phone by an eye witness.
