Five (5) suspects arrested in Dansoman in connection with fake currency dealings.
The police in Dansoman of the Greater Accra region have arrested five (5) persons suspected to be dealers of fake currency. The five suspects include Akwasi Boateng alias Honourable, Michael Marfo Ohene alias Ghost, Bismarck Tawiah, Richard Walker, and Prince Nketiah. These arrests were made on 29th June 2021 at their hotel room in Dansoman. They were found in possession of bundles of fake currencies such as CFA, Dollars, and Ghana cedis. The police also retrieved a weapon, pistol, and ice chest mixed with powder.

The police of Dansoman must be commended for the arrest. Imagine that you are going to purchase an item only to be told that your money is fake or worse, security called to arrest you for possessing a fake currency. That will be a day I'll never forget in my life.
The police, however, entreats the public to be responsible and observant citizens who report criminal activities to the police for appropriate action to be taken against the perpetrators.
