According to the United States Geological Survey the seismic movement has reached magnitude 4.0 which is dangerous and will make one of the strongest earthquake in Ghana in years.

Already, the Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA) has warned that the series of tremor occurrences in parts of the Greater Accra Region over the years is signal of a looming earthquake of greater magnitude in the future.
Accra is dotted with so many earthquake fault lines and the geology is not uniform, that is the reason anytime there is a small earthquake, it happens only within greater Accra.
Residents of greater Accra and it environment should be very careful since the seismic movement is increasing in magnitude which can cause earthquake at any point in time.
