Tallest man in Ghana asks for help.

Men undoubtedly value their height , however, here comes a situation with the tallest man in Ho, a town in the Volta region of Ghana, regretting his height due to the many demerits it has caused him.

Charles Solgi, the tallest man in Ho with an unusual height of 7.10 ft has expressed his woes and calls for help in an interview with Joy news from Ghana.

He is currently a welding apprentice in Ho, popularly known as "Charles taller" .He explains his height attracts stares from fellow pedestrians and sometimes strangers jaws drop upon setting eyes on him the very first time.This makes him very uncomfortable.

To add to his woes, Charles Solgi has a very long feet , 18 inches to be precise.This he explained even forced him to drop out of school right from primary 5 due to the absence of any shoe his size.This made him feel incomplete and look down on himself when he evaluates other "normal children" with sandals on their feet.

"I dropped out of school at Primary 5 in Ziope in the Agortime Ziope District of the Volta Region, because I couldn’t have any sandals or shoes for my large feet" he said.He elaborated he is the only person with an unusual feet in his family.

Apart from the issues with his feet, the challenge with transportation is so serious and consistently proven to be a hindrance.Drivers refuse to accommodate him in their vehicles .Even operators of tricycles won't pick him due to his weight and height. This causes Charles Solgi to walk to work, which is quiet a long distance away from his place of residence.This he explains has been his daily routine every morning unless a driver finds sympathy on him and grace him with a lift.

He pleads and wants individuals and organizations to help him , specifically with special shoes and sandals , a means of transport and a dress suitable for someone his size and height.

"I will be happy if people can help me with sandals and shoes which will be designed for me.I also need dresses and a means of transport.I am also pleading with drivers to pick me anytime i stop them " he pleaded.

He further hinted he has tried to see the positive side on the attention he gains and hopes something good comes from it.His master from the welding shop also also expressed how dedicated and hardworking Charles is to his job and he further congratulated the guardian of Charles Solgi for being a loving and supportive man who never used the gentleman's cons to look down on him.
