Pwalugu Police Training School is one of the biggest police training schools in Ghana. It is located in the Northern region. It is one of the biggest training schools in Ghana which has trained a lot of police officers.
It is been named as the biggest police recruit center in Ghana which has the largest environment for most of the training activities.

In news, today reported by Hello FM Kumasi two police recruits at Pwalugu Training school has been dismissed. According to the report, they were dismissed because of getting pregnant which is against the rules and regulations police recruits act.
According to the information gathered, they went on break during Christmas and they came back in earlier January. Just a week before they were dismissed, the two ladies were not active and can’t participate in any training.
Due to that, they sent them to the hospital to know what was wrong, after the test and everything the Doctor's confirmed they were three months pregnant.
After a letter was issued to them per the act of the police training rules and regulations to go home. The most painful part is that they cannot join any other service eg (Military, fire service, immigration) in this country.
