Sad news coming from the Ashanti Region indicates that, two vehicles have been involved in a serious accident at Kwadaso.
The sad incident occurred earlier yesterday on the Kwadaso highway. The two cars that were involved in the accident were all toyota vehicles (a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Corolla vehicle).
According to eyewitnesses, the Toyota Fortuner vehicle was overspeeding and suddenly ramped into the back of the Corolla vehicle which was moving at a relatively slow pace.
Five individuals who were involved in the accident sustained various degree of injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate response and treatment.
The police and ambulance service personnels also reported at the scene moments later. The two vehicles that were involved in the accident were towed off the road. The police also took the situation into consideration and have begun to conduct investigations on the main cause of the accident.
