Jukwa, a town close to Cape Coast in the Central region is a town we do not hear murder, stealing and armed robbery cases there because the people living there are very vigilant because of what they have heard on both traditional media and social media.
A young man who is twenty three (23) years old has been arrested for allegedly stealing a day child in a day broad light and the police has released after further investigation. The young man who was arrested was told that the day born child is for him and he has every right to take him to his home.
According to the grandmother of the newborn baby, the young guy wanted to take his child away because she is a junior high school student in her final year so she (the grandmother) wanted to abort the pregnancy but it was late.
He came the same day the child was born because of what I told my daughter, he was afraid but since she has given birth, I have no issues with them just that my daughter must continue her Education. The grandmother said
The young guy told Angel news that it will be over his dead body for his blood (baby) to be at her in-law house. He added that her mother is there and he will be happy if his mum take care of the child.
