The quest to protect the country, properties and citizens is never easy. The police service alongside other security agencies in the country can be seen to be providing the best of their might to safeguard their various communities for good. This sometimes leads to sad stories popping out in certain occasions such as succumbing to accidents and shoot outs which puts their life in danger.

Few hours ago, three police men alongside in the Volta Region nearly lost their lives due to a ghastly accident they got fallen as victims. Three officers were on board in the police patrol car travelling from Ho Municipal to the areas of OLA.
On their from the Ho Municipality to its suburbs, the driver lost control of the wheel as he ran into a Benz Actros 3340+Afit Trailer with registration number GN-3161-09.
According to eye witnesses, the Benz trailer was parked at the side of the road as the police vehicle mistakenly diverts towards it. Below is what one man said.
"We were here when a very loud noice was heard. When we rushed there, the police car was seen to be flattened with the officers severely injured. The Benze trailer has been here for quite long on the roadside but nothing like thatnhave ever happened " he added.
This has been a very sad story the police service have experience and alongside the families of the victims.
As at now, they have been rescued and sent to the hospital to seek medical attention. Lets all pray for these police officers for their lives. This is thus a very sad incident that has hit Ghana and the police service.
