Mary Quaye, prominently known as Obaa Yaa is in the grasps of the Central Regional Police order for incurring cutlass wounds on her significant other.

Delegate Superintendent of Police (DSP) Irene Oppong, the Regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) revealed the episode in a meeting with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Cape Coast.
She said on Monday, April 26, the Agona Dunkwa Police got a report that Abraham Acquah, spouse of the presume had a squabble with her and later hit her with a piece of wood.
The Police PRO said the spouse responded by assaulting her better half with a cutlass, which arrived on his neck and different pieces of the body.
The Police continued to the clinic and met the casualty at the Emergency Ward with various profound cuts on his leg, jaw, neck, and shoulder.The law must take it course.
