The Ghana Meteorological Agency has sent a word of caution to the people of Ghana. The month of June and July are the months that experience the heaviest of rainfall throughout the year. Although for this year 2021, the experience hasn't been exactly what is expected. There hasn't been much of the rainfall this month of June as it used to be in the previous years during this same month. Though it has delayed, people are still hopeful to see the rains soon.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency which study and make forecast on the weather conditions and rainfall, and to make prediction that will help inform people's decisions when taking steps that will be based on weather conditions, has issued a caution today 11th June 2021 to all Ghanaians to be aware of an impending storm that is likely to hit Ghana. According to the Ghana Meteo, the rainstorm which was over the coast of Benin is moving towards Ghana and is likely to move to inland. That will affect parts of the southern Ghana or the coastal areas and parts of the inland. The Full statement is below
