The rains have tightened its belt again as it disrupts the friendly environment of Accra and surrounding towns after an unexpected heavy downpour leaving the whole area flooded. The question people frequently do ask is why Accra all the time?
Reporting from UTV news Ghana via their official twitter page is a video going viral flowing the heavy downpour in Accra and its environs. In the video, a citizen was seen pouring garbage and waste products in drainage following the flood believing the high water current in the drain will be worth discarding them for him. If he gets affected soon by the floods, he will now come blaming and asking the government for support.
Just yesterday, the Mayor for the country’s capital, Hon. Henry Quartey together with his boys went out on an exercise ragged “operation clean your frontage” and this citizen hasn’t forgotten so soon.
