Residents of Parkoso Estate in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region have early this morning been thrown into a state of mourning after a 20-year-old woman was murdered by his jealous partner for being unfaithful. The body of the lady whose name has been given as Samira was discovered in a backyard plantain farm with multiple wounds appeared to have been inflicted on her with a knife.
Her partner and prime suspect, Kwasi Bonsu, has confessed his crime, telling the Asokore-Mampong police that he committed the heinous crime because his partner cheated on him with another man and had called off their relationship after he confronted her. The suspect, aged 26, has also confirmed that he murdered his late lover by stabbing her multiple times with a knife.
Kwasi Bonsu has since been taken into police custody to assist with further investigation. Samira's body has since also been deposited at a hospital's morgue awaiting autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
