The municipal chief executive for Wenchi Municipality, Hon Alexander Obour Damoah has disclosed that a spiritualist who attempted to scammed him but failed in the Bono Region has been arrested by Ghana Police Service.
The MCE stated that earlier this year November, It came to the attention of him that there are activities of a certain fraudulent Mallam or Spiritualist on Social Media assigned to malign his reputation with false information after his attempt to scam him failed.
The MCE stated that he wish to state unequivocally that he did not, or have not, or assigned him, nor promised him anything whatsoever the unnamed spiritualist is trying to talk about.
According to the MCE, the spiritualist was since then arrested by the Ghana Police service and subsequently granted bail but has absconded as well as summoned before the Nkoransa Traditional Council.
"I therefore denounce this fraudulent and unscrupulous act and hereby alert the general public especially my Wenchi Constituents to this situation and to disregard it and treat it with Contempt. We will pursue it to the later to find out the detractors behind. Thank You. Hon. Alexander Obour Damoah. Municipal Chief Executive, Wenchi" the MCE revealed on his social media wall today, Monday, 29th November, 2021.
