The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Acheampong, has revealed that we have allowed certain illegal operations to run in this country over the last decade.
Seth Acheampong made this statement via zoom call on 'THE BIG ISSUE' on CITI television yesterday, June 19th, 2021, when he gave his opinion on the increased armed robberies in the country.
According to him, statistics show us that after every election, the first six months to twelve months, there is a surge in criminal activities in the country.
"Over the last decade, we have allowed certain illegal operations to run in this country. As we watched them behave in that manner, they appropriated for themselves some arms." - he said
He added that the state was not so minded about the behavior of these criminals. A new leader comes on board and looks at the threat, and decides to attack the threat, definitely there Will be a reaction. That's why we are seeing a surge in crimes.
