News gleaned from Aboabo/Anloga junction by a Joy News reporter this morning Tuesday April 27, 2021 indicates that two persons are in a critical condition while one person has been confirmed dead after an articulator truck runs over a woman who served as a blocked to the said articulator, and implicated two others.
According to an eyewitness Rashid Muhammad, a trader who sells at the Anloga junction, there was a truck coming down the road and two other cars (a van carrying passengers on one side of the truck and another private car on the other side).
Suddenly, a woman jumped out of the van (the probable cause still unknown) and entered the road serving as a blockage to the truck, whiles she(the eyewitness) saw one other person rolling on the road. All she saw next was that the was one person under the truck whiles her slippers were scattered on the road.
She later discovered that it the woman who jumped off the van and tried crossing the road. She died on the spot. The other persons who are in critical condition are victims of the unfortunate incident. They have been rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for immediate medical attention.
Speaking to the Joy News reporter who was at the scene shortly after the accident, Hajia Rashid Muhammad said that such incidents often occur at the Aboabo junction (the meeting place of Tech junction road and Anloga junction road).
However, she has never experienced any which has been a fatal and serious one like this before. She said that she was saddened by the incident. She can't explain why the woman who got killed under the truck would do something like that.
